Bespoke formwork for a sea defence wall of an offshore made energy island in the North Sea
Construx supplies all formwork for flood barrier walls with support buttresses, which are cast on top of concrete slipformed caissons.
Technical specifications:
- Total casting length: 15,36m
- Maximum height: 9,55m
- 2 Complete adjustable inner formwork sets, equipped with walkways on both sides
- 1 Complete closure formwork sets (outer formwork), fitted with walkways and nets for additional safety
- Sheeting and chamfers in stainless steel
- Horizontal segmentation: 4,8m, 2m, 1m and a top-up of 1,75m for the bullnose
- Allowing to cast the varying heights of the sea defence wall
- Tie-rod positioning system with approximately 100mm adjustment to avoid clashes with reinforcement bars
- Stop-end panels for the seawall and support buttresses
- Kicker forms
